The Boeing B-17 was the primary bomber used by the U.S. during World War II.
This presentation follows the history of airplane manufacturer William Boeing, the development of the B-17, describes the plane and its armament, recalls Rosie the Riveter, and even guides you to B-17 crash sites in Colorado.
The presentation also considers the primary nemeses of the B-17, the Messerschmitt Bf109 and the Fulk-Wolfe Fw109.
Dr. Robert Meroney, Emeritus Professor of Engineering, CSU will present this multimedia program.

FCMOCA will present an exhibition of the paintings of Al Wynne and the ceramic sculptures of his wife, Lou. The exhibition was organized by the Kirkland Museum of Art in Denver. Al Wynne is one of the most important abstract painters in the Western United States. Lou has become known for the castle-like towers and the bowls on stilts she forms using hand built techniques.
