Bringing reality to your dream of being a published writer involves cultivating specific skills . . . but that?s not all. The most important thing in your writer?s toolbox is your own unique understanding of life. This course will emphasize not only topics such as dialog, plotting, point of view, creating characters, and revising/submitting manuscripts, but also how you as a writer fit gin to the whole job. Materials: a copy of Seize the Story will be supplied by NCW. Students must bring a notebook and pen or laptop with a full battery, and your questions, ideas, and dreams.

Victoria Hanley is the award-winning author of five published books. She has written both fiction and nonfiction and has experience with both large and small publishers across the world.
